Evergreen Lawn Care, Inc. has operated in Owensboro and the surrounding area for over 18 years. Evergreen has established itself as the premier lawn care company in the area by providing outstanding service to its clients and a good working environment for its employees. Under the direction of owner/president James West, Evergreen serves an estimated client base of 550 regular customers and employs as many as 30 to 35 people during peak seasons Owner/President James West maintains a high visibility profile with the company. When not speaking with customers or handling administrative responsibilities, Jim is frequently on the job sites inspecting the work and talking with crews. Jim's son, Todd West has stepped into the position of Manager while Jim's brother Rick West serves as Assistant Manager. Evergreen is constantly working to maintain and improve the level of service it provides to its customers. Its Quality Control Program consists of training programs for employees and frequent and systematic inspections at the work site by management. Each full-time employee is required to attend a minimum of one week of training per year in the use and repair of the various pieces of equipment used on the job. In addition, annual safety classes are given at the Evergreen facility as well as a first aid class.
