Smothers Park is a nearly four-acre project, and Riverfront Crossing adds another acre to the area that will serve as the center of the downtown revitalization effort. Evergreen Lawn Care was chosen to install the landscape on this exciting new project. The key elements of the project include a promenade that stretches from St. Elizabeth Street to Daviess Street.  It will be tree lined and have planters, benches, signs, bike racks and decorative railings.  There will also be a children’s outdoor museum and playground with fountains, a concession and restroom building.  Large shade trees along with annual and perennial beds will accent Veterans Boulevard and St. Ann Street.  

Landscape installation is slated to begin in the Spring of 2011.
